Devin Pena, a Southern California native, moved to Nashville in 1990. “As a drummer and on and off again bass player, I find it funny to be where I am today, but truly enjoy it as well.”

Devin joined the Gruhn team in 2009 and spends his time carefully preparing and packing instruments to ensure safe arrivals at their new homes. It's not uncommon to see him helping out with a variety of activities throughout the store, too.

Never one to let things that matter slide past his view, he has been actively involved in many non profit organizations doing volunteer work and is also in the midst of starting his own retreat center, Chop Wood Carry Water Retreat Center in hopes of helping folks from all walks of life. “It’s important to me to be able to help those that cannot help themselves, as a father of a child with special needs I do what I can beyond our needs in hopes to connect with others as well.”
