Bill Carson's Stratocaster

Bill Carson is the guitarist for whom Leo Fender designed the Stratocaster, and this is Bill's personal Strat -- a 1959 with Fiesta Red finish and matching peghead finish.

The neck was personally shaped by Bill to suit his own playing preference ((1 7/16" nut width, shallow depth). It has a thick slab rosewood fingerboard. "Carson" is stamped in the neck pocket.

This instrument is in VG+ condition with a letter from Carson and the original brown Tolex case (SOLD).
