Del Langejans opened a music store in Holland, MI, in 1970, the same year Gruhn Guitars opened. He began building guitars a year later, and he quickly gained a repuation as one of the finest makers of flat-top guitars. Artists who use Langejans guitars range from Phil Keaggy to Thom Bresh to Muriel Anderson.Del has now passed serial number 1200. We're pleased to offer sn 899, a Grand Concert cutaway model from 1998.
In sound as well as appearance, this guitar is a showcase for Del's talent. It features an orange-tinted Engelmann spruce top, AAA-grade Brazilian rosewood back sides, bridge and neck, 1 3/4" nut width, 5" body depth, and an L. R. Baggs active pickup system.
